A Fresh Perspective
Colgate is proud to welcome author and professor emeritus William Ruddiman on Thursday, January 24 at 7:00 p.m. as part of the ongoing lecture series held by the Center for Ethics and World Societies (CEWS). The lecture will take place in Love Auditorium in Olin Hall.
New Band Break Out
The Barge Canal Company is excited to host the funk-rock music of the budding band, The Source, on January 26 as the Saturday Nite Music Series continues. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m., and admission is free.
Stellar Sounds
Student band Sonic Symposium and beatboxing singer Kid Beyond will both be playing at the Parker Commons on Saturday, January 26. Sponsored by SCOPE, this is not a show to miss. Doors open at 8 p.m.
The Sounds of Music
On Monday, January 28, the Luna Nova New Music Ensemble brings their talents to the Colgate Memorial Chapel for a free concert. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., Dorothy Wu, Craig Hultgren and Adam Bowles will perform the music of Colgate's very own Mark Volker, Takemitsu, Crumb, and Ung and Patterson.
Musical Persuasion
Focus the Nation presents a concert by band Tally Hall, with student band Earthman Embassy opening. Make sure to hit Donovan's Pub on Friday, February 1 for the show! The concert is free, and is expected to last from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
