Hey, Colgate! Welcome to this week's edition of Cooking With Tom. This is one of the busiest weekends of the year for all the local pizza places and anywhere one can get a dozen wings. The Super Bowl is a great time to make some new and fun treats to entertain the football fan in everyone. Here are a handful of recipes that will pep up your last football get-together of the season.

Cheesy Pepperoni Breadsticks

2 3/4 cups Bisquick mix
1/2 cup Monterey Jack Cheese
1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese
1 small red onion
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup whole milk
2 cloves garlic
4-6 ounces sliced pepperoni
1/3 cup parmesan cheese

Finely chop the garlic, onion and pepperoni. Mix together all the ingredients except for the parmesan cheese. When the dough has formed, allow it to cool for about an hour. Roll the dough into two-inch balls and roll in the parmesan cheese. When the dough is coated, roll out into six-to-eight-inch sticks. Bake the bread sticks for 15-18 minutes in a 375-degree oven. Serve hot with pizza sauce.

Chicken Wing Dip

2 cups cooked, chopped chicken
1 cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce
1 8-oz. package cream cheese
8 oz. chunky bleu cheese dressing


Mix all ingredients together and serve with celery sticks, tortilla chips or chicken flavored crackers.

Steak Skewers with Bloody Mary Sauce

1 small onion, finely chopped
2/3 cup vodka
3 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
4 tsp. Franks Red Hot
1 cup tomato puree
2 tbsp. prepared horseradish
1 tbsp. BBQ sauce
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
2 lbs. beef sirloin
black pepper
salt

Chop the onions, and sauté in a large saucepan for about five minutes. When the onions start to brown, add the vodka and simmer until the vodka has reduced by 1/3. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, except the beef, and continue to simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Grill sirloin to desired temperature, and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Serve on a large platter, while the beef is still warm, with toothpicks and bowls of sauce.
